The Comprehensive Plan is a 10-year, long-range plan outlining future land use and includes goals and objectives related to economic development, infrastructure, housing, parks and recreation, open space, preservation, transportation, connectivity, and community facilities.
In July 2023, South Fayette Township adopted an updated Comprehensive Plan, developed in partnership with the engineering and planning firm Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc.
Public input was gathered through community events, individual interviews and steering committee meetings.
